Influential podcast
I am redoing my political philosophy University modules because of this series. The Hobbes lecture reminded me of an unopened Leviathan that went unread during my Uni days. Simply wasn’t ready to grasp with it, alongside 8 other modules. Being at university that young grappling with these issues may work for many, but certainty not me. Having a bit more time in my mid 30s, I want to map out social science with a much clearer understanding. Thank you David, especially for the extra bits of reading you offer.

The Wollstonecraft episode was fascinating. Looking forward to listening to the others.

Really great episode. Best so far, in terms of presenting the challenge of ideas, of thinking about difficult issues. Love the way Runciman is prepared to challenge his own preconceptions. Thank you.

This pod is a treasure! It is both entertaining and (for me at least) intellectually demanding. It is a shelter in the middle of this pandemic storm. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to record it.
