I haven’t properly engaged with political philosophy since A-levels and this podcast has revitalized that interest 10 years later. It’s presented excellently, striking the right balance between detail and accessibility. I just hope there’s a second series.

as David Runciman does, is really a stretch. Hobbes’ claim to “fame” there is his fallacious squaring of the circle and duplication of the cube, his rejection of algebra and calculus, and general mathematical incompetence.
