I loved Technopolis’ last season, so I’m really happy that it’s back for a covid focused mini series! A great listen if you care about the future of city life, urban design, racial equity, or how tech is changing our world.

Great coverage of each topic tackled — I find the hosts ask all of the questions that come to my mind and some that don’t! I love urban design but even friends who don’t seem to enjoy this podcast. Keep making them, please!

Been listening since the beginning and am now happy to write that Technopolis is consistently good. They talk about urban issues with authority but also good humour. There is no dumbing down to a lay audience while not being wonky. Loved the Wikanda episode (June 2010).

Love this podcast! I love the discussion of the future and what might come from all of our technology. I think it's important to try to think these things out and to identify problems, but it's also fun to conceptualize how the future will turn out. I want more!Read full review »

Good idea. But these people are just bad at podcasting. Sounds like they are just reading a script.

Great new podcast. Urban dwellers like myself are used to constant change and after the initial disruption, these changes often just blend into the urban fabric. If you’ve come here hoping for a podcast that thinks critically about techno-urbamism you’ll be sorely disappointed. Boilerplate pablum about disruption and glorifying the vc class. Manages to be even less thoughtful and interesting than the Citylab blog.

Informative, insightful, perspectives on tech and our changing cities. Top notch guests. There really is nothing else out there like it. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Smart Cities, IoT, transportation and environmental sustainability.

Sounds like the hosts are reading lines from a script except for when they are interviewing someone. Like in elementary school, when each student takes a turn reading aloud in class. I really appreciate that they are bringing light to all these tech issues, just wish the conversation between the...Read full review »

Disappointed in the lack of pushback by the hosts on broad statements such as “government can’t do anything” “gridlock is really the best government can do”. Maybe that is your idea of government, but sounds like a rich dude just telling us that tech is way better than government. The people who...Read full review »

This is a great podcast exploring innovative technology in our cities!!! And so interesting... it’s like “how I built this” mixed with “the kojo Nnamdi show” mixed with “planet money” I love it. I cant wait to hear what they talk about next.
