I really wanted to like this podcast
At first I was ok with this podcast when I first subscribed, despite the fact that it was obvious that both of these guys are people you owuld avoid interaction with in real life (and guys don't take it personally, I consider myself one of these people), I mean, it is a tech show. That is to be expected. The oher day I listened to a podcast on linux and I started gearing up to send in an email. I am far from a linux afficianado but I can tell you one thing, Ubuntu and Kubuntu are not "practically the same thing because they are both from canonical." They use different operating environments. That is like saying OSX and WIndows are the same because they are both gui. In addition to that the arguing factions over gnome and kde, and how it will play out is one of the most intriguing parts of linux and it was not even covered. Then I listened to the video game system podcast and half way through I cut it off, and unsubscribed as soon as I got home. I do not want your opinion if a wii is the only currrent gen console that you own and if I wanted a nintendo fanboy podcast, I would look for one that said that in the title. It is possible that I will come back at some point and check this out, but probably not because I want to smash my teeth out every time that one guy says "Well hello there" or "Listener Mail".Read full review »
