10/10 would risk a weekend of unspoken murderous secrets in an isolated cabin with these two Sometimes podcasts are at their best when discussing good material, sometimes when the material is really and truly dreck. Teen Creeps is fantastic whatever the quality of the book in question. More than a nostalgia trip (although if that's what you're into, its one hell of a ride), for anyone who's current taste evolved from an adolescent love of the prurient and macabre, Nugent and Katai examine the cultural landscape and attitudes of the time, what being a teen looked like then and the kind of adults it makes us now. Pulp escapism is such a huge part of entertainment for adults, I'm grateful someone is highlighting how important it is in our formative years too.
