My name is LaLa and I live in LaLa Land spewing nonsense into a microphone (and on paper & the net) begging for money while sitting in my seaside home claiming to have done this for my listeners AKA followers. While some of the content is solid information its ALL recycled except for the...Read full review »

Authentic and raw. I loved the podcast about jealousy and envy. Will listen to more for sure.

Laura covers tough topics with guests, many in a way I haven’t considered before. It is always enlightening and brings a new understanding/perspective on something within myself or a way of relating to others. Thank you Laura!

Laura is able to get to the heart of a matter and tell a story so fluidly and beautifully. Personal and universally relatable, vulnerable and insightful, every episode gives me a beautiful moment of “aha-YES!” This is how we grow as people.

These conversations are illuminating and thought-provoking, and they restore my faith in people and make me feel less alone in the world.

I would like to hear more of the guest and less of Laura.

I learn so much in every episode. I’ve listened to several more than once and learned about amazing work of so many people. Always a conversation of substance!

I love the real honest and vulnerable conversations Laura hosts each week. Her guests have a lot to share and I learn a lot I can reflect on in my own life. Keep up the great work. Thank you

Really like the podcast overall but the Johann Hari interview had a really abrupt and awkward ending. I would have liked to have heard the rest of his story and voice on how to re-focus attention in a world of overstimulation.

Laura’s way with words is soothing. She interviews folks from a place of authentic curiosity and is a good listener. She has a good variety of guests and stand alone episodes.

Have just started listening to the TMST podcast and have been really enjoying it. They are very satisfying. Laura has such great interview questions with the people she has on, it feels like you are sitting around a dining table and just having a great conversation around coffee. I also really...Read full review »

TMS is a must listen podcast for finding the joy in living a full life. Laura and her guests discuss practical ways to care for yourself, deal with life’s challenges, authentically, with joy, and in recovery from addiction.

Just as her book, We Are the Luckiest and her course Sobriety in Full Color land for me, so does her podcast. It’s like sitting by a fire with hot tea and a warm blanket. Real conversations, vulnerability, and connection. This is life.

One of my favorite podcasts. Love Laura’s book & this podcast is equally as great.

The 4 stars only stands for the annoying breaks throughout the podcast that reminds us there’s no adds… I agree it’s an add free podcast, but I would much rather listen to different adds than having to listen to the same message about joining the TMST group over and over again

I’ve enjoyed Laura’s previous podcasts but this one is not working for me. Laura’s massive strengths really shone in the previous ones - speaking with a lot of honesty, authenticity, self-awareness and vulnerability around getting sober. Now… it feels like she’s out of her wheelhouse. And it...Read full review »

I came to read the reviews just to see if I was the only one who felt the way I do and many people mentioned my feelings exactly! I love Laura, I’ve listened to every single episode of Home and Spiritualish, I’ve even done some of her online courses and been an avid follower for years. I cannot...Read full review »

I might have to stop listening to this. The way she is mic’ed makes me want to scream. I can hear the spit sloshing around in her mouth and *every*time* she swallows. This seems to be mostly when she is doing a monologue episode. On the content level, her most recent episode--where it sounded...Read full review »

I had difficulty getting through the Anna Lembke interview because it sounded like she was being interviewed by a middle school girl and not a grown adult. Laura fails to communicate like an adult woman and is just downright irritating. The the awkwardness of this women is just an all around NO.

The episode w guest whose doTera “business” “really took off” after she got sober. Completely predatory company w unethical practices. She’s no “success” and if she is, it’s at the expense of others. I know very little of Laura McKowen’s work. She somehow showed up a few years ago on my Instagram feed. Truth, curiosity, reverence, humour, wonder, honesty - and that’s just the first three episodes. Listening to Laura’s interview with Pete Rollins today made me realise how profoundly her curiosity and path have influenced my own. The TMST package comes with a community too. Exactly.
