Well researched and explored stories about climate and environment! Very well done. It is immeasurably difficult explain these nuanced topics so clearly and quickly. Thanks for your work.

Thank you for bringing a broad range of topics, but especially for your coverage of Ty Stubblefield and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. The story of sportsman, their history of conservation funding, and their current high level of energy to protect the environment is not well enough publicized.

Compelling and well produced long-form journalism about the natural world. Definitely worth a listen.

This podcast is an antidote to the existential despair brought on by the question, what can I do about climate change? Highly recommended!

Ashley is doing the work we need right now, and doing it beautifully and it is entertaining without being belittling. Fantastic show.

This podcast has been essential listening in my laboratory! "Terrestrial" addresses environmental issues with perspectives that are the perfect mix of science, philosophy and civics. Host Ashley Ahearn touches on tough issues with grit, empathy and confidence. I appreciate the kinds of...Read full review »

The tag line seems like one of those that are so intentionally vague that they could do an episode about anything: "the choices we make in a world we have changed." But it really lives up to it. Can't recommend anything better about our relationship to our environment.Read full review »

This show is very well made! Great sound quality! The topics are all relevant that I feel like no one else is talking about. I have a lot of concerns about the environment and this podcast helps me recognize my anxiety and take steps to be part of a solution rather than a problem. Love this podcast!

Starts with questions that should have simple - and even annoyingly preachy - answers, and builds fascinating stories that make you look at the world with fresh eyes. A gem!

Love the death episode, presented as timely and engaging without being sensational.

As an ol' lefty who has served on a city commission in a semi-rural setting I thoroughly enjoyed the Micah White episode. The revolution will have to be negotiated in that particular setting. Excellent work! Great writing, solid production skills.Read full review »

Sad how this podcast talks about social justice and equality when they play adds supporting a racist university. As long as they continue to be hypocrites you will never achieve your goals

Each episode answers questions I've long thought about but never really discussed with friends and family. Thank you for bringing diverse perspectives and some answers to such pressing concerns about climate change. Great journalism.Read full review »

This is such a fantastic angle for a podcast. Our climate reality creates so many dilemmas with no easy answers. Ashley is an excellent guide through some of these questions. Awesome sound design!

Ashley and KUOW have put together a great addition to the podcasting world. Taking environmental reporting to the storytelling approach that so many of my other favorite podcasts use serves this subject well. By focusing on the more personal impacts that environmental change has on people I hope...Read full review »

great to have an eco podcast that is accessible and not like a TED talk, but actual people and help understanding the world accessible.

Reminds me of a mix of Radiolab and Planet Money, exploring the world through an irreverent science and sound rich approach to storytelling but with an environment lens. Certainly not your typical gloom and doom program, but instead one that taps into listener curiosity and hope in working toward...Read full review »

Terrestrial is surprisingly intimate for the topic and scope, diving into the way each of us as individuals react to the enormity of climate change. Part ecology, part psychology, the host brings you into the minds of people coping with environmental changes, and then brings you through the other...Read full review »
