“I started listening to this show from the first episode and after eighty episodes of being worn down to give a review I will now. This show is a real attention getter. I play 40k on the East Coast and it is very interesting to see how Travis, Adam and the Producer recount tournaments, list builds and play styles that they see on the West Coast. Between painting tips, thoughts on where Games Workshop is headed and out of control pop cultural references the entire team plays off of each other well and it never feels like two hours have gone by. It's informal, funny and not stuck up as some other 40k podcasts I have subscribed to in the past.
I listen to these podcasts when I am on the road and I am grateful for how long they are. Now, gettin' to Texarkana and back in 28 hours, that's no problem while listening to TFG Radio. This podcast really has everything (including warmachine?) Yes. I sat through the warmachine episode. However it works and works well. It shows that the team is very involved in the hobby and can see the game mechanics from other systems and how it is relatable to 40k.
Every new episode feels like the welcome mat is out, and you're comin' home. It is honestly exciting to see that fresh new episode hit my phone. This podcast has helped me get over a hobby slump and I encourage anyone that is looking for a genuinely funny and smart 40k podcast to listen to this one.
