A Born Interviewer.
If you are familiar with Otis' work, then you will be well aware that he can tell a tale. Here he takes something of a backseat, allowing his guests to tell theirs. There is something refreshing about the way he allows the interviewee to move things along in the direction they want, but the podcast truly excels when it stops being an interview and becomes a conversation between two people who are friends and have respect for each other as artists. I would love to hear a little music from the guests, but I realise this in the internet era where everything is instantly available so it isn't enough to lower my rating. Thanks for the show, at my favourite price, free. Keep up the good work and maybe shed a little more light on the life of Otis Gibbs.Read full review »
