Great insight on the What is Trauma episode. Just a note that it was a bit explicit, but did not indicate this with the title. It actually said clean at the bottom of the episode. I was listening to this around my children so that was a bit disappointing.

This is a hard subject and hard experience to be open about. No, not every second Is perfectly politically correct, but I so appreciate the rawness. It shows the ups and downs of the real experience. These hosts have their hearts in the right place, that is clear, and some moments are not pretty,...Read full review »

These women share their journeys with such honesty and grace. They let us in on their very personal experience and show us what it looks like to stay open, learn, ask questions and love others in the middle of your whole world changed in an instant. Well worth the listen!

I look forward to this show every week. I’m so glad they’re back for season 2! When someone can tell their story truthfully from a place of healing and also manage to find the humor in an impossible situation, that’s special. All three of these women have managed that, and with love and support...Read full review »

I am 71 years old and this show gives me all the feelings. I am so proud of these girls. My daughter in law is transgender and this show has really helped me understand my daughters journey.

For these women they experienced this as trauma, and it may not be that way for everyone, which they make very clear. This is their story of loss and grief. They do not tell their ex-spouses stories. All you need is a little compassion to listen.

What a hard subject to tackle - and these ladies do such a wonderful job of supporting and affirming their former partner’s transition, while also acknowledging and discussing the trauma in their own life. I think it’s sad to see a few reviews here stating that it’s “not their story to tell” when...Read full review »

I know one of the hosts quite well - and applaud the bravery of all three of them in speaking their truths - honoring their ex’s and moving with confidence into the future.

It may take more than a handful of episodes to understand the layered love, respect, hurt, grief, hope, and resiliency these families are experiencing in their journeys. These feelings, and more, can coexist. We’re hearing the raw and messy conversations that are vulnerable to share. I think it’s...Read full review »

These three women have a shared common experience but each have their own story. They speak about their collective and individual traumas with honesty, humor, and authenticity. I can’t wait for season 2!

Everyone has experienced trauma, both “big T” trauma and “little t” trauma. It manifests itself in many different ways, and effects all of our relationships until we address it with a professional and heal it. This is a podcast that begins as 3 women talk about their similar and uncommon stories...Read full review »

I love the vulnerability and the love they still have for their ex spouses. This is truly a podcast where they show unconditional love for themselves, their ex spouses and their children while navigating grief. Each has a long history with trauma independent of their current circumstance and it...Read full review »

This is not their trauma or their story to tell.

The hosts consistently deadname their previous partners and demonize gender transition as if it is a personal attack perpetrated against them individually, offering only a halfhearted and insincere disclaimer as if that makes everything else alright. As someone with a trans spouse who came out...Read full review »

I wish my mother had access to support groups and a podcast like this! She went through this almost 20 years ago with children ranging from 2-16 years old. She had to get through it on her own. As an adult having watched all of this when I was a teen I appreciate the three of you giving me the...Read full review »

I am thankful for this podcast, for many reasons: the casual conversation is organic, the friendship is authentic, and the healing is real. Highly recommend to anyone, seeking a means of knowing, “you aren’t alone.”

This is, by far, the most beautiful and honest podcast, ever. These women bare their hearts, openly share their stories, and are true heroes. ❤️❤️❤️ Let us learn from you, be more like you, and own our trauma.

A REAL conversation among friends on a topic that a lot of people don’t want to talk about. I look forward to getting to know these three women more as they share their journey to get to where they are now.

So many podcasts try to cater to a specific audience by watering down their content. These ladies do not ! They tell it all like it is !i love their raw honesty and candid nature.
