What ever happened to Thomas Szapucki? Wasn’t he supposed to be the second coming of Braden looper?

As a dire hard Mets fan who’s more excited than ever, I needed a Mets podcast to get my fix of news and takes on the team. Both hosts are extremely well informed on the organization, from prospects to members of the front office. I highly recommend this podcast to other Mets fans and am looking...Read full review »

Hands down the best Mets podcast! Insightful, humorous, and level-headed. I look forward to each week’s episode. Question: Since it’s the lockout, let’s get a little crazy. Do you think the Mets should make a run at Freddie Freeman? If so, would you keep or trade Pete?
griffinmichaelj via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/07/22
Quickly becoming my favorite Mets podcast, great insight on everything from the minors to the majors. Question: do you have any idea what your reaction to the Mets actually winning a title would be? Crying? Running around crazily? I think I would be frozen in shock.

Love the pod!! I’ve listened to Connor on both the Stick to Football pod and Badlands pod. Very knowledgeable and well spoken! **QUESTION: Why do NFL rookies go right from college to the pros but in baseball it could take them years to get to the pros??** This is the best Mets pod out there!...Read full review »

Super informative at both pro and minor league levels. Love the banter between Joe and Connor. Question, what would is your favorite food at Citi and if you could add one food item/new place to Citi what would it be?

First time long time! Been listening since just about day one - followed Connor here from Stick to Football and haven’t looked back (my handle is uncle_chesters on twitter if you recognize the likes) Question for next show: who’s your all time favorite Met who didn’t live up to potential? Just a quick question on the draft—Do the Mets get more draft pool money because of their extra first round and additional comp picks? PS—every position should be a Plattoooon!

Loved the listen!! The comparison with the contracts were spot on. I was thinking same exact thing. Marte to granderson signing, max to pedo signing. You sure do have the pulse of the Mets fans! All were good signings, all will contribute in a big way wherever and whenever they play . We don’t...Read full review »

Love the podcast and all of the insight you guys give all of us Mets fans! Are there any free agents that the Mets might go after that aren’t being talked about? Who are some of the smaller name free agents that you would like to see the Mets pursue?

5 stars! Joe and Connor bring the best OVR Mets podcast I’ve listened too. Very passionate as well as informative. Every year there is those guys available at the trade deadline for good bench depth for example Kelly Johnson and Juan Uribe from the 2015 squad. With the CBA set to expire, will this be the last draft where teams aren’t allowed to trade their picks? And if you think teams will be allowed to trade picks in the future, do you anticipate specific rules?
