This podcast is fantastic! I’m disappointed it’s ending just as I’ve discovered it. The episode “The Lido” is one of the most heartwarming episodes I’ve heard in a long time. So sweet. I look forward to listening to all episodes of this pod.

I look forward to the 11th each month. This month’s title stopped me in my tracks. I’m heartbroken! I’m so sad this will be the last episode. Thank you for feeding my curiosity each month for the last year. Had to say it now, lest it become an unsent letter…

Really enjoyed listening to this episode, the storytellers did a great job sharing this little subworld of Miami and its super charming and quirky characters. I would not be mad if they turned this into a full series. Excellent work!

This podcast was amazing and endearing as it was so nice to hear people’s stories. The host, Liz Olear, was compassionate and thoughtful as she allowed people to tell their stories. I hope more episodes are released soon with Liz Olear as I believe she makes the perfect podcast host. I look...Read full review »

The format allows guests to gain closure on very difficult events or relationships. The host Liz Olear puts the guests at ease and helps guide them on their search for answers or contentment where there are no answers to hard questions. You can feel their sense of relief during the conversation.

I loved this podcast!! I laughed at times and cried at the end. Please release more episodes like this! Just fantastic!! The host, Liz Olear, is understanding and compassionate. She lets her guests tell their stories and asks meaningful questions without being pushy. Loved her, loved this...Read full review »

His Saturn Return was such a fun ride! The story was interesting, queer, soulful, and wholesome.

Magnificent episode ... Meditative, peaceful, a gift. Thank you 💜 Came upon this podcast first when I listened to Hanif Abdurraqib’s episodes on the Score ... One of my favorite pieces of art I experienced recently. xo

This was awful!!!!!!!!

I wanted to like his series but there’s so much victimhood being worn like a crown and people acting like we’re in the 1940’s that it just got ridiculous to me. It’s definitely geared to certain groups of people that hate other certain groups of people. So sad.

I was expecting a piece like 24 Hours at the Golden Apple Episode from This American Life, that feels like a good example of Exhausting a place. But this, I don’t know why we should care about this story, this was pretty boring unfortunately.

Loving all the episodes. Great concept.

This series about Landmark was a little questionable for me. First of all, it was more about EST and Werner than about Landmark. But more importanty, it felt super unbalanced. We heard from a lot of people who left early, or heard about it and didn’t like it, or people who were involved in the...Read full review »

I was so intrigued by this podcast. The first series was fantastic--so well made and well reported. I worry that they set the bar too high for themselves because everything that's followed has been just ok. I wonder how long this will survive. Hoping for more like the first series!Read full review »

A lot of people reviewed this poorly because they wanted to see some validation of their worldview: “women lie about sexual assault and we need to tell those stories in order to be fair”. Instead this tells the story of four people who were falsely accused of sexual misconduct and ostracized, the...Read full review »

So far, I love the 11th. The Inbox and The Score are completely different, but both are high quality binge material. Maybe next month has a not-so-interesting topic (hard to imagine, given the strong start), but the following month will still hold promise. Brilliant!

I enjoy the monthly format of the podcast, as well as the diverse topics presented. Great storytelling and production, especially on Time Machine: The Score.

Highly recommend! This podcast opened my eyes to the issues regarding Title IX that I never imagined. Looking forward to more episodes.

While interesting, it totally avoided the topic of a any false accusation of a man brought by a woman. In fact, each episode seemed to only delve into a false accusation that had to do with a story brought about from homophobia. Awful and unfair stories for sure, that have you question the...Read full review »

Very interesting, thoughtful and informative. Also heartfelt and well done. But I have a major complaint. This was advertised as opening up a possible Pandora’s box by questioning accusers. She goes so far as to suggest the courage it took to have a nuanced conversation that could detract from Me...Read full review »

This series by Sarah Viren is exceptional: riveting, eloquent, courageous, and deeply smart. Brava.

Wow
The whole point of this format is to make space for things that don’t necessarily fit neatly in standard formats, which is already sort of wonderful. If Sarah Viren’s sensitive, searching, brilliant framing and reporting of “The Inbox” is any indication, I look forward to what comes next. I’ve...Read full review »

This is a powerful and moving podcast, one of the best I’ve heard in a very long time. It is subtle but incisive and does not shy away from complexity and intelligent empathy. I needed to hear it, and I’m grateful I did.

This is at least a 4.8 star podcast. Maybe higher. It’s a difficult topic but one we absolutely need to discuss. The one star folks either didn’t listen to all the episodes or didn’t understand the major points. Very well done and fair. In the United States we love to create policy. This is great, fascinating exploration of such complicated stories, experiences and policies. Very well produced. The first “serious” podcast I’ve thought so highly of and been eager to talk about with others, in a long long time. Sincere thanks for creating.
