Keep this podcast alive
Been a fan since the beginning but the podcast has changed since the beginning. Early on, Josh seemed a lot more inspired and passionate and hopeful about the project. Lately the energy of the episodes is much more varied and unpredictable. Some episodes are great and some are not. When Josh gets a fan of the album on that really knows their stuff it’s lightning in a bottle and I think what truly makes this show great (see LA Woman/Jackson Browne episodes). On the other hand, when Josh brings on comedians that aren’t really interested in the album it really does the music a disservice. I understand that it’s probably difficult to find guests that are passionate about every album on this list, but I think that those episodes where you hear about the impact these records have on the guests and Josh are what makes the show special. Overall, this is a great podcast. It makes me sad to hear Josh in these new episodes seem worried about the future of the project. He has a winning formula, it’s just about getting the right guests.

Josh loves music. Josh loves himself. It’s too bad he’s terrible and comedy and story telling.
