My son (age 4) has been diagnosed with mild ADHD. I have felt overwhelmed by how I can best help him, and cope with my own struggles with the diagnosis. I’m up to episode 47, and this has changed my relationship with my son in such a profound and positive way. We are making great progress...Read full review »

Just as I’m running out of ideas and feel like I’m failing my ADHD kid, I find this podcast. So many actionable strategies and easy to understand information. I’m nearly 30 years diagnosed and medicated and can try some concepts (e.g. goal setting) on myself and my Son. Thank you.

I love this podcast, there are many tools I have implemented from this podcast including, morning routine, role plays with kids and my favorite has been the bedtime routine. It has helped me so much to not get overwhelmed with parenting, and to more effectively make necessary changes to help my...Read full review »

Just found this podcast today after a particularly difficult week and morning with my son. I have listened to two episodes and have already received so much helpful information (more than the many books I have read on the subject). Thank you for this wonderful & helpful content!!

I’ve found after listening to several episodes that this podcast is just an extended advertisement to have people go to the smarter parenting website. It’s great that they have a free website to go to and access resources, but if you’re looking to learn anything from this podcast, you will be...Read full review »

Due to Covid shutdowns, I’ve had the chance to homeschool my 5-year-old, and now strongly suspect he has attention and anger-management problems. I implemented the advice on this show, and it helped a little. It’s helped me be more understanding and patient with my kid, even if his behavior...Read full review »

Agreeing a time out for children who are struggling with anything in the class room gives the wrong message to everyone. The classroom believes that anyone who is struggling should be excluded until they are capable of finding and applying the tools before they are accepted back to the group. ...Read full review »

Even without having an official diagnosis, there are just a lot of gems in this podcast. I feel so encouraged after I hear Siope talk. I think my favorite so far is the one about ADHD and anger, very enlightening!

Great podcast! It’s nice to have a place to hear from other families struggling with these tough issues!

I learned more in 5 min than I had learned in years of parenting. Our words matter! Thank you!
