TW Gender identity and ADHD: If you are trans/NB DO NOT LISTEN
This episode may be triggering for marginalized genders. The so-called expert on this episode comes from the heteronormative parenting perspective, not the queer/gender perspective. They use terms that are not affirming, and dismiss the importance of marginalized gender representation in coaching/treatment. Finally, they use naive and harmful language about bodies and hormones at the end of the podcast. This person should never have had a platform to talk about this issue. They are clearly peddling expertise that is non-existent and potentially harmful. At to boot: they refuse to give sources on their “knowledge,” but promote their book and organization. Disgraceful.
