“My financial means don't allow me to subscribe to AJ, but holy smokes, luckily for me and others, this is a great podcast! Interesting and real topics, thought-provoking conversation that honors the ethical nuances of being outdoors enthusiasts (e.g. carbon footprints, "gatekeeping," etc.), fantastic interview with Alastair Humphreys, etc. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to hear two mature, reasonable, and passionate outdoors folks discuss such things in podcast form! I'm an East Bay native and love the Marin and CA references. I've been "micro-adventuring" for decades (road trips, car camps/dayhikes, trail runs and other outings), and it's probably my favorite way to experience the world.
