“I’m glad you mentioned Mellon Collie from the Pumpkins for your 1995 episode. Very ambitious and successful double album. The sequel to Mellon Collie is Machina which came out in 2000. They are conceptual records and the main character Zero becomes Glass. When you do 2000, please do your homework and discover the greatness of Machina. Mike Garson plays on it. Machina has such a unique production that manages to be fuzzy and clear as day at the same time. The music is extremely dynamic and darkly beautiful.”
