This podcast was awesome!! Spooky stories on a backdrop of a university town with something wrong. Great characters that you’ll grow to love as the seeds of the (awesome) plot start to sprout. Cool world building, ace representation, and a fabulous finished story with just a touch of silly!! Love...Read full review »

To be fair, I started listening to AA after the show had ended and I'm only half a dozen episodes in and I have to say...meh? I personally found Morning Wood to be entertaining and the best part of the show. But the stories? Some were good, some were boring. I don't know that I'll...Read full review »

I love this podcast.... full story and well produced! I find this to be better then nightvale because the story has a beginning, middle and an end! Can’t wait to see the next project! Ia ia Wendigos!!!!

This podcast is a personal fave of mine but I have a few problems with the main character, the pacing, and the way they treat Gore in the later episodes. My favorite parts for me where the radio show segments and the archives part of it completly broke the immersion. But the underlying plot and...Read full review »

This show is possibly one of the most underrated podcasts ever. The stories are both parts creepy and nice and it all forms a beautiful and mysterious world.

This is a great destination when looking for life distraction. Radio Host Morning Wood (MW) is the delightful voice behind Alexandria University’s late night student radio - IA IA, Wendigos! First off, I'm only about ten episodes in. Taking that into consideration though, I'm really digging the Alexandria Archives. To be completely honest, I'd say it's solidly "above average but not amazing," as far as horror podcasts go. Acting, writing, sound design are all...Read full review »

I just recently discovered this podcast, and I am hooked. It’s like a cross of King Falls AM and The NoSleep Podcast. This association is made even stronger by having several of the NoSleep voice actors. If you like either of those podcasts, check this out.

Some podcasts lessen the tension by using humor. This podcasts puts comedy right beside the horror without lessening the effect of either element. Great job, WHAU!

Very engaging, the stories are very interesting, and super fun. Mourning Wood is clever and blasé and so so sweet.

I really love the way the podcast is done! I love the voice actors, I love MW and I absolutely love Gore's character! I love the archive stories so much there so eerie and thrilling, I especially love the theme of everything and the folklore/eldritch elements! Highly recommend! <3Read full review »

I love the horror stories and characters! I wish we had a university like AU when I was going to college!!!

Great horror stories, great humor, all under the umbrella of a late night radio show for insomniacs. Morning Wood is an excellent hostess, keeping wendigo spirit despite the Dean and Gore’s calls, among others.

I work a terrible, monotonous job, and listening to fiction podcasts is the only thing keeping me (partially) sane. Alexandria Archives is one of my favorites. The stories are consistently creepy and help to build an intriguing world. The narrator is funny, dry and relatable. And it helps that...Read full review »

I love to fall down paranormal and lore related rabbit holes, they are so fascinating. This podcast takes all that puts in College and still manages to create a overarching plot with lovable characters.

Fun
Fun series set like a college radio station. Love Morning Wood...ummm...that didn't come out right, and the wrap-around stories are fun, while the actual Alexandria Archives are nice little stories that mix horror and comedy evenly.Read full review »

A great podcast, very interesting, very original. As well as the normal content of a fictional college radio station for a supernatural college they use submitted stories so you get something different every episode

A really great horror podcast! Short stories mix with audio drama, there is a lot of weirdness and this podcast often left me with an uneasy feeling. Really worth a listen!

I’m always a tad squeamish about horror, so Alexandria is perfect- either I’ve gotten better with it recently, or they’ve struck the perfect balance between creepy and intriguing and found a way to tell their excellent stories (I think it’s the latter). Funny, creepy, fresh and compact, each...Read full review »

If you want some spooky tales and the occasional chuckle, the Alexandria Archives is a great podcast for those long road trips and late nights on the road. This podcast, along with Magnus Archives, are my two favorite scary tale-telling podcasts- not just because I enjoy the stories- but because of the way they’re told - story within a story. How could anyone not love a host named Morning Wood!?! Love that. I am a podcaddict to say the least. My favorite is horror like NoSleep, The Lift, Wicked Library and such. . . Fell in love with the radio show and the variety of horror stories they bring each ep. The only thing I hope they fix is the audio volumes. Sometimes it hard to hear some characters, especially when they got some important info to drop. Keep up the good work!
