Historic snippets are illuminating however difficult to hear soft low-timbre voice of Flannary competing with loud background music. TURN IT DOWN PLEASE.

What an incredible podcast. The stories, the history and historic figures, the lost and unknown facts, the music and Flannery’s perfect voice and delivery for this.. …. im so happy to have found these …. how wonderful to listen to these stories of our country’s past during such difficult...Read full review »

I enjoy the podcast and will continue to listen. I found today’s(Hank’s Bar) a bit paranoid and devisive. As a historian I would hope you would want to make sure critical race theory would be presented and discussed as one view of our past. Let students make up their minds thoughtfully after...Read full review »

Thank You Sir for your history you pose to us in these beautiful stories. Please continue as we lose so much of this. I’m sure that is the root cause of why we are in dire straits. God Bless You!!!

Restore the love of Country - when we hear all that has been sacrificed and the costs of Liberty as well as the opportunity that is alive because America exists- we know we are blessed beyond measure and deserving to be Americans.

My 4th grader and I listened to this episode on the way to school. Her teacher brought up Mrs. Hale I’m school that day and she enthusiastically said I just heard a podcast about her today. She was excited to tell the class she wrote Mary Had a Little Lamb!

I love episode 123. Although I was not born in the U.S., I love this country. My sister and I were one of many Boat People who came to the U.S. after Vietnam fell to communism. Interesting short stories that are a great break from the mostly political podcasts I listen to. That was my original review, but I had to cancel after the last podcast. Andy Ngo, a hero? Great history lessons and a reminder of the values that Americans in every generation have tried to uphold all across the country throughout its history, while others at the same time with in and outside the country have attacked those values, whether in word or action. The narrator also has a...Read full review »

I’m using the American Story Podcast as medicine. I know history. It was my favorite subject in high school and it was one of my majors in college. But, when one is besieged by a barrage of communist propaganda about a phony narrative from CRT and the 1619 Project, it’s bound to influence one...Read full review »

I’m 26 years old and discovered David Barton when I was 22. I heard ONE of his talks on the American founding and I shed tears at just how little I knew about my country and just how Godly our founders were. This review pertains to the episode titled “El pueblo y el hombre.” The story was interesting and informative. However, the background music which played during the entire episode was distracting. I am hard of hearing, and the music was just too loud for the speaker’s soft voice to be heard.
