The Art Of Sleeping
Meditate on great works of art from around the world. Based on Hatha Yoga breathing practices and art historical ekphrasis, this podcast invites you to relax and fall asleep meditating on beauty, pleasure, culture and knowledge. Each episode features an imaginative and evocative description of the work of art (a technique known as ekphrasis) alongside breathing exercises. The work is then gently explored in its historical context and finally, it's making leads back to an awareness of body and mind through imagined gesture. Episodes are between 10-15 minutes.
