Fabulous and Phenomenal for ANY Field and EVERY Person!
I’ll admit it: the topic that introduced me to Sergio WAS, in fact, to do with art (how to attach paper to canvas) and wasn’t so different than the method I’d been considering (hey, great minds think alike, yo). But something else in that same episode of his excellent Breakfast With Sergio video podcast triggered or inspired an idea that helped me immeasurably—both in my own art and in the art that I hoped to teach. I checked out a few of his other videos, drooled over the gorgeous paintings, and went along my merry way (aka various household fiascos and health snags claimed my attention for a bit). A few months passed and then the other day I signed into Insta in order to delete my account (and flounce off into the sunset) and, lo and behold... there was a post by my old friend from the days of paper canvas google searches! I was so glad and grateful to find him again, and checked out his latest podcasts; you won’t be surprised to learn that the past 24 hours have been a constant playlist of Breakfast with Sergio! Half the stuff he says is stuff I’ve always suspected about the "art world," and half the stuff is real-life wisdom I know but (always) need to hear again. And all of that wisdom is spoken with enthusiasm, with positivity, and with love. I’ve always been a NOT-fan of motivational speakers that ooze a very particular brand of sleaze (particularly in the fields of sales or lifestyle or garden-variety "abundance" whateverness), and even if their advice was spot-on, I got a rash from their demeanours and vocal styles and used-car-lot smiles. Sergio isn’t a motivational speaker. He’s your friend who's sharing some stuff that worked for him... thus motivating you to take action. (It’s worked for me, anyway, and I have the worst case ever of ADD that ever there was.) I can’t wait to enact ALL of the fabulous life-changing-YET-NOT-OVERWHELMING advice he dropped on his peeps, so I should wrap this up for now, then, eh? Anyway, thanks, brother Sergio, for all that you (and Dr. Y!) do. :)Read full review »

The episode of why artist struggle with pricing really hit home with me because it’s something I’ve struggled with as an emerging artist and defining my value. Thank you for sharing and the dose of inspiration!
