This show is not just poetic "healing narratives," free-form "riffing" on transit activity or superficial delineations of the current lunar cycle; in this show you will see the techniques of astrology examined and picked apart, and the philosophies that inform those techniques explored, evaluated, analyzed and at times criticized.
Chris has a penetrating and naturally skeptical mind and is very good at identifying astrological fluff - sorting the wheat from the chaff. He is a traditional astrologer but has explored many other branches of astrology, and the show reflects the breadth of his vision of astrology; his guests include some of the most famous contemporary astrologers, some of whom practice a style of astrology quite different to his own.
Listening to this show for long enough will open your mind to the sheer variety that exists within this field and expose you to astrological paradigms that you may not otherwise encounter or even imagine could exist. It will also encourage you to take this subject more seriously and to approach your own studies from a more professional, mature, dare I say Saturnine perspective.
