Though it sounds like he has lots of good ideas, I wish he would talk more about bees and less about his hatred for God. I want to hear about bees and not his hate filled life. That's all I have to say about this.

I down loaded this podcast last night and already listened to 12 of the cast. I love it! Lots of information but not overwhelming to someone who is thinking of starting a beehive. I do not have any bees yet and don't know if I will be able to have one in my backyard but learning about the bees...Read full review »

As a first time beekeeper I have found these podcasts very helpful and informative, especially in conjunction with the boomers website and the book. Looking forward to more as we go through our first winter with our bees.

Great podcast I have been interested in getting some bees but I have always been put off by the cost of getting started with lang hives plus all the chemicals they reccomend you use to treat parasites and disease. After listening to the Barefoot Beekeeper podcast and learning about TBH I am now...Read full review »

Just bought an empty hive for 2011, and listening to Phil will get me off to a great start raising bees naturally. Sound quality is excellent, information is delivered in an engaging way, and offers a philosophy hard to find in published books. Keep 'em coming, Phil!

I finally had the opportunity to listen to all of Phil's podcasts during a miniroad trip today. I have to say these are an invaluable adjunct to the books/booklets and forum. As always, I found Phil very passionate about meeting the needs of the bees - and offering useful, reasonable and...Read full review »

Before moving to Florida, I had a couple of hives in rural Virginia. I am looking forward to getting back into having a hive in my backyard with a more natural approach and "Top Bar Hive". The nuclear hive is due to arrive in about 10 days. These podcasts are an excellent way to explain and teach...Read full review »

Phil Chandler's information and inspiration got me started with beekeeping last year. The podcasts are great - particularly this latest video re: feeding fondant. Looking forward to many more opportunities to learn from my bees, and Phil.

Presently I live in a suburban environment, but keeping bees at my condominium complex is against the rules. Sooner or later I'll get out into a real country area where bees are welcome. Until then, the Barefoot Beekeeper allows me to vicariously enjoy my apiarian interests. Keep up the buzz!

As an new beekeeper, it is great hearing information from someone who has been around the block a few times, especially if you live in an area that does not have a lot of "natural" beekeepers around. I hope this podcast will be longer in the future, and have some practical guides for treatments...Read full review »

Very well presented and easy to listen too. Have built a hive using his plans and been beekeeping following his advice. Well worth listening too, would advise looking at the book.

This is an excellent introduction to Natural Beekeeping, and what is generally meant by that term. Possibly slightly overlong for an introduction, but still engaging. Important to keep it as simple as possible for starters I liked the friendly tone.
