I kinda loved it tbh. Just a nice story. Not a action packed scifi thriller, but really nice. It surprised me, thanks for making it.

I stumbled upon this podcast. It’s simple, different, and a story that is drawing me in. Worth the listen.

I enjoyed the story so much that I almost sad that it ended.

This was an amazing listen!! I really enjoyed it. After you all listen to this, go check out the “Izzy” podcast. It’s an expansion of this story, and is great!

It starts really well. And is worth listening to. It is amazing. Keep up the good work.

The concept here is really simple. A giant behemoth emerges from the Atlantic Ocean and starts walking across the US. A young high school girl sees something of herself in the beast and decides to walk with it. This is their story from the girl's perspective. It's quite gripping and...Read full review »

I watched a segment on NH Chronicle featuring this producer so I decided to try the series.... I am now hooked!! I enjoy the brief chapters which fit easily into a short commute. I’ve been binging on the other series by this company. Highly enjoyable!!

I am really enjoying the serial, but seems to have petered out before the final, or I may be missing how to get the episdodes that come after a certain date.

I really enjoyed Behemoth, along with the sequel Izzy. Though I prefer the storytelling format Izzy made use of, this first installment has a captivating and heartwarming story. Not the best for young audiences, but a great story for teens and adults.

Even though it feels short, it was definitely good.

As with every other series released by Rick Coste, Bryar Lane is amazing! I highly recommend checking out this organization's other series as well, and donating to keep these series coming! ❤️Read full review »

I have no idea why this has such high reviews. The performer does a fine enough job, but the script is as bland as can be. Nothing is gained or learned. Nothing of interest happens. The main character is boring. Don't bother. *spoliers* High school girl talks to herself while walking...Read full review »

Maybe I just had too high of expectations based on all the positive reviews. This series was neither hot nor cold but simply lukewarm for me. I know I was supposed to grow fond of the main character but I never really did. So overall impression can be summed up in one word: meh...

This reminds me of the beautiful and evocative radio serials of the past. Episodes are short and it's impossible to just listen to one. I loved it.

I loved this so much. I wish the episodes were like 2 hours long. Such a great story

Terrible. No story at all. Would give no stars if I could. Waste of time.

Well-crafted and unique radio drama that hooks you from the get go. The vocal cast is excellent and the story gives you just enough without giving away the overall mystery. Plus, each podcast is short and easy to listen to. One of the best of the podcast dramas in recent years.

I wasn't expecting much out of this podcast, why? I'm not sure. But I'm just being honest. So, I wasn't expecting much but I thought I'd give it a go. Was I surprised. This story is wonderful. I binged the first ten episodes and only stopped because my drive was over (I listen...Read full review »

I wanted to like this show, but it was slow and light on plot. Maddie's voice was soothing, and I liked Rick Coste at the end saying "and until then, please take care of yourself." That bit was so calming. Might have been a better show with fewer episodes with more length, but in any...Read full review »

Great story, listened to it over the course of a week or so and found a really sweet, slightly surreal story. Amazing little self-contained gem, would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to get into the format of serialized podcast stories.

This is a professional and smooth production. This is made on the level of a BBC audiobook. I cannot fault the audio quality or soundscaping. 5/5 You can tell that countless hours went into creating this underrated podcast. A hidden gem. This story had me hooked from the first episode. Easy to listen to and an even easier story to love. Short, sweet, and very moving, I guarantee that this is worth every minute of the time it will take to finish it.

My favorite of Rick Coste's podcast work. I almost didn't listen to it because the episodes are so short comparatively to others. But it makes it much more potent, completely entrapping you to listen to more.Read full review »

After listening to the Thrilling Adventure Hour, Welcome to Night Vale, Alice Isn't Dead, and Within the Wires a few times each, I was in search of another awesome story. This was very entertaining. I was hooked from the first episode. My only complaint was - it left a lot of things unanswered about the Behemoth. But, the truth is, the focus of the story really isn't the Behemoth; its the girl and her discoveries about herself and coming of age, etc. I really...Read full review »

I found this podcast on a particularily difficult day in my life. Each episode was comforting and the narrator Madyson was extremely endearing to me. I could imagine myself taking the same journey with that gentle giant.

A very shaky start, a solid middle, and a highly dissapointing ending. SPOILER ALERT Nothing happens. Literally nothing happens at the end. There is dramatic build and build to nothing. This podcast is an interesting concept executed well- Madyson is compelling, Max looms large and mysterious, strange and benevolent and well-drawn even as we know nothing about him. Major props to the team behind this.

Binged listened to this on the drive to work and while at work. Just an all around great podcast. The story is so good and engaging that I could see this being either a live action (CGI Behomoth) or an animated feature. It's that good. Well done, Mr. Coste and everyone else involved.Read full review »
