Accessible Bible scholarship
I am NOT a Bible scholar, but I do find it fascinating. Thing is, I do get lost in a lot of the commentary. I love that Price will lay out some background knowledge first before diving into the esoterica so that a layman like myself can follow what's coming. Incidentally, I just noticed that iTunes has this categorized under the Buddhism . . . what in the fiery fires of Gehenna is that all about? One of the things I love about Price's approach is his integration of Hindu, Zoroastrian and Buddhist texts, and he actually inspired me to listen to Lawrence Manzo's excellent Mahabharata Podcast by talking so much about Arjun and Krishna and Dharma, for which I am thankful, but . . . weird.Read full review »
