“Who knew this guy was a bigoted, ultra-conservative religious nut (yup. Somehow he's more fundamentalist than most actual Christians)
There's a train-wreck of an episode you can listen to recently on Dogma Debate titled "atheist trump supporter". I tuned in expecting to challenge my own ideas, to hear a scholar's argument for why on earth a nonbeliever would ever want to vote for Trump. Instead I got conspiracy laden ranting, shocking bigotry, shouts of "Hitlery" for Hilary's name (so embarrassing to hear), and discourse on the level of a 13 yr old internet troll. He even hung up the phone in a tantrum for no reason.
Perfect example of compartmentalization. Intelligent in his field, yet somehow a hyper-credulous conspiracy theorist in everything else. So many of us were so disappointed.
You could be so much better than this, Price. Point your intellect at your preconceived notions. Verify the 'facts' you've based your ideas on. Overcome confirmation bias.
In the mean time you've dealt your credibility and the mythicist theory with it a severe blow.
