“I love this podcast because I'm very interested in biblical higher criticism. The questions are fascinating and Bob Price is extremely funny. This is an excellent podcast. However, there are a few reasons why I'm giving it only four stars and not five. Although I happen to agree with Bob on many things political, he talks about politics WAY too much and he has been bashing my preferred candidate Ron Paul lately. Every one is entitled to their opinion, but I listen to his podcast to learn more about biblical higher criticism and not politics. I hear enough about politics everywhere I go. I would like Bob's podcast to be an escape. Now, he is free to talk about whatever he wants. I just hope he realizes that he runs the risk of alienating his listeners and preventing others from seriously considering his views. Also, Bob tends to bash one of my favorite scholars and authors, Bart Ehrman, which I believe is unnecessary, considering the two are pretty similar, at least in my opinion.
In conclusion, I love the podcast, and I'm glad that I know there are things on which Bob Price is wrong, because it forces me to evaluate everything he says, and not just take what he says as gospel. :-)”Read full review »

“Few Podcast s can appeal to both believer, unbeliever, and everyone in between for the same reason. Bible Geek is both humble and erudite, and has one hell of a speaking voice. Humorous, provocative, and all of those positive movie review adjectives are more deserved of the Geek than most movies.”
