Much more interesting in retrospect
I grew up and lived in Boston during the Big Dig. I had no idea how complex and layered all these stories were. I get a kick out of local references (would any story about East Boston be legit without a mention of San Tarpios?), but even if that wasn’t the case, they do such a great job of making federal funding, infrastructure, and grassroots organizing such a human story, I’d be hooked. Solid listening!

Loved it. Thank you for sharing the story behind the Boston roadways & the beautiful green spaces that exist today. Every project has beautiful and ugly bits. I enjoyed learning all sides of this one.
