Great Content- Predictably Pathetic Host
98% of this is positive with fascinating insights to a messy decade plus of Boston’s history. Great interviews and well rounded perspectives. Worth a listen - especially for Bay Staters. But this GBH hack of a host can’t help himself from inserting his personal politics with petty ad hominem attacks against conservatives and predictable obsession with climate change. But a few moments of cringe and eye-rolling are a small price to pay for a really gripping story told from many voices.

More reviews of The Big Dig
This may be the best audio documentary I have ever heard. Great reporting and storytelling. Putting together the archival footage and thorough current interviews is a valuable capture of a significant event in Boston’s history. Kudos to the whole team.

I lived through the Big Dig and remember much of the drama, intrigue and politics. It’s amazing it ever got completed. It was also a big headache. This podcast does an excellent job at putting all the pieces together. Highly recommend.
