“I’ve really been enjoying the podcast. Great to hear all the nitty gritty details of what you guys have been working with.
Aside: from my perspective on the Ember framework with 6 week fwd only releases is not at all due to instability. Quite the opposite. It’s highly stable. As mentioned, it means only smaller changes can be pushed at one time, which IMO is just a better way to build, but it makes the upgrade process that much easier and so I’m willing to do it much more frequently. I believe it’ll be very infrequent that a bug found in a 1.x branch isn’t already fixed by 1.x+2. So if you stay current it’s fixed fast and if you don’t it’s already fixed by the time you get to latest. Also, their use of feature flags and strict semantic versioning keeps things very solid.”
