The thinking persons football podcast
I only came across 'The Blizzard' in the past few weeks and figured I would try the podcasts as an intro to the publications. I love these episodes, they are perfect for the trips to and from work (45-60 minutes for me). They are insightful and well thought out. I find a lot of media regarding football is rubbishy, and even opinion pieces seem to lack the quality and depth that 'The Bizzard' harnesses. I live in Sydney where our mainstream media outlets have invested interests in other types of football (Rugby League, AFL) and are heavily against traditional Football. Hearing a quality podcast highlighting stories from the world of football that are often lost or ignored brings a certain culture or insight that I wasn't witness to in the past. Definitely recommend anyone who likes to think a bit to have a listen. I don't say that as a warning for non-intellectuals, I'm just a tradesman with basic education.
