Very poor
The BMJ used to be a reputable medical journal. It has been sad to see it’s decline over the past 10 to 15 years. Likewise the podcast in the past has been intellectually strong. Sadly it is showing the same lack of rigour as the journal. The latest episode was awful. Lots of people trying to push their political points “The croneyism of the present government should make us angry, what do you think?”. This might be suitable for a Guardian or Daily Mail podcast where political bias is seen as a virtue. For a medical podcast it is a tragedy.
