my favorite asoiaf/got podcast
I've sampled the gamut of ASOIAF podcast offerings, and this is by far the best. Stefan and Sean's conversations are thought-provoking, insightful and have enriched my ASOIAF experience. Many fans get hung up on the conspiracy theories, poring over minutiae in efforts to prove that they have cracked GRRM's code. Boiled Leather won me over when Sean made the argument that GRRM wouldn't have written an epic which details all of war's tragedy in horrific detail, just to make someone like Victarion Greyjoy, a war criminal, into Azor Ahai - savior of Westeros. Boiled Leather focuses on what the stories mean on a larger scale. If you're interested in that kind of discussion, this is the podcast for you.Read full review »
