"......india has a very limited idea of freedom of speech...."! how can anyone have so much access to travel or information, and be so ignorant?! Ms Bosman must acquaint herself with India's many complexities. to dismiss a rich democracy of 1.5 bn people as not being aware of free speech is strange. and by the way, as i write this, the book is freely available across India.Read full review »

I love Sam Tanenhaus, the editor of the NY Times Book Review and his best buddy Dwight Gardner on the NYTimes best sellers. And the Tanenhaus/author interviews are the best. So even in Canada, I bow down to you guys!

Really great podcast that provides me information on new books coming out and what books the reviewers are reading. Great interviews. Only caveat is when they are discussing books they are reading there seems to be embarrassment if one is reading nonfiction or a long book as if that is inferior....Read full review »
