“The short pants pod is a unique (and also great) look into how the the Canadian government, parliament and bureaucracy works using the topic du jour as a backdrop. With a focus on the workings of the government machinery they dive into what and how things are actually done.
It’s an interesting perspective you don’t get anywhere else. Rather than punditry you get a glimpse into how the sausage is made. And what kind of sausage is possible as an output. The best feature is their ability to move past the politics and into the mechanisms and realistic outcomes.
Both hosts are entertaining. Some great recurring references. Some suspect pronunciations from one of the hosts. . .
Oh, and there is usually a beer review at the end.”
