The 2nd best NDP/ Liberal coalition since Jagmeet and Justin! My only qualms would be that sometimes they focus on things that are TOO mainstream and never answer any of their mailbag questions on air. Also you should win things by listening

Lary and Yeny remain two of the top players in the podcast game! Great insight and they never miss a chance for a pop culture anecdote or funny quip. Occasional FAKENEWS and misinformation (primarily from larry CarbonNO) but they make up for it with many a hearty laugh Heuheuheuhe!!

Funny and interesting analysis and opinions from two young Ottawa insiders. Love the show - keep it up guys!

If worse comes to worst (and it may still), without hesitation I'd put these two in charge of it all -- the entire Government. Or, at very least, deposit them in the Cabinet room to pass judgement like two policy-trained Statler and Waldorfs. I promise you, we'd be a country of fewer...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. Thanks for putting the time in. You inspire me to learn more and that friendships with opposite political spectrums is possible! If only we were all so informed... keep it up! Please.

Best podcast I’ve found on Canadian politics, love the show, looking forward to the next 100 episodes!

One of the hosts is bad and the other one’s in denial about how bad the bad one is ("lobbyists just represent causes, anyone can employ a lobbyist" -- expect that genre of apologia). It’s a good podcast despite this; the hosts’ knowledge is thorough and they do their homework. And...Read full review »

I tried waiting to be the 100th review as instructed, but I give up. Here’s 99. Good luck fellas. (My review: Great casual listening Canadian [federal] politics podcast, I dig the boys’ vibe and appreciate their candidness. One comment: Aren’t you both Francophone or am I making that up? If so,...Read full review »

I am just a normal citizen, not in the Ottawa political bubble, but I love the inside information I get from these two presenters

This high-quality podcast, run by two professionals in the federal Canadian politics scene, is a great listen for anyone who wants to learn more about what's going on. The focus is on federal politics, though they do discuss provincial matters sometimes. The hosts diligently cover only topics...Read full review »

The short pants pod is a unique (and also great) look into how the the Canadian government, parliament and bureaucracy works using the topic du jour as a backdrop. With a focus on the workings of the government machinery they dive into what and how things are actually done. It’s an interesting...Read full review »

The Boys represent a razor-thin segment of the Canadian political spectrum, but it's one that's fairly important to understand in order to grok parliament hill. And I like their banter and delivery quite a bit.Read full review »

Since Canada finally has it's own embarrassing political scandal, it is great to have a podcast with hosts who are very knowledgeable about Canadian law, history, and politics. Etienne and Laurent sound like they do their research and give very detailed explaination of legal issues involved -...Read full review »

Two experienced parliamentary procedural insiders who discuss the latest with energy and humour. Thank you for the education! Please fix the sound so we can hear all voices in the room. I don’t want to miss a single word.

Really enjoy the podcast, Laurent and Etienne have a really good rapport. My one criticism is that their opinions and too reasoned and well articulated. Need more “gut feeling” hot takes like Oppo.

My favourite way to find out what’s going on in Canadian politics.

Ok I have to agree with Stephen in Edmonton. I was just listening to the newest episode and basicly what Stephen decribed happened in real time as I listened. Laurent brought up a point about Trudeau commenting to the Boushie trail and Etienne followed up with "I have to register my...Read full review »

The hosts know their stuff there is no arguing that! They are in the political mix and can speak from experience. Here is my problem: you have a CPC member and a NDP memeber hosting the show...you'd think that would result in some interesting debate on the issues . Well you'd be wrong....Read full review »

Great podcast - shows two people with different idealogical perspectives (conservative & NDP) can have a productive debate. They do a great job at making Canadian politics interesting and accessible.

Began listening as a The Strategists replacement and while it's not quite there, I do enjoy every episode. Could use somewhat better audio quality and much, much fewer instances of the phrase "writ large." Generally, very good content.Read full review »

This is the great analysis and insight that is missing from the Canadian political scene. Honest yet somewhat partisan with insider peeks and education for even the most knowledgeable of Canadian political insiders. Thanks guys and keep it up!

Doing a really great job with this. If the network shows leave you wallowing unsatisfied on the surface, the Boys will scratch that deep itch. Weedsier than Vox's The Weeds. It's way harder to find a solid podcast on Canadian politics than it should be, but I'd put this one up there with american political podcasts like Vox's The Weeds and Slate's Political Gabfest.
