Passionate, Eloquent Humans of a Certain Age
I had such a fun time listening to The 30+ Effect episode, as someone in his mid-30s. The hip hop references are totally lost on me (Joni Mitchell is my jam :D), but that didn’t matter. Sumit and Chris speak passionately about what it means to be a certain age, and how we operate within the societal and cultural constructs and pressures of being a human. Also, I loved the Peter Pan and quick shift into Peter Parker references about growing up and what it means to be “responsible.” Really thoughtful commentary about aging, and how that impacts—even if we don’t know it yet or want it yet—each of us. But the truth, as you two point out so eloquently, is that age doesn’t really matter. It’s just a number. And that’s a lesson we should all acquaint ourselves with often!

Two great hosts that talk about things the way you are likely to with your friends. Feels like eavesdropping.

And I do, with subjects ranging from Social Media, ageing, Hip Hop, peer pressure, “testicle...Read full review »
