Middle class women wittering on about her domestic life and making small talk with others about thier home life tribulations. Occasionally talk about the British Museum.

Very faint-hard to hear on full volume

Good content, but the presenter speaks so fast the podcast can’t be enjoyed.

The first 4 were very entertaining, then it all went down hill and got very dry from there. Volume is a bit all over the place.

I the new format is not very sharp. There are interesting bits of information, but the interviews ramble. As smart, knowledgeable, and curious as the hosts are, they clearly aren’t skilled in journalism. They allow segments to ramble, get far away from the topic, ask too many questions at once so...Read full review »

I like this podcast. It has very interesting discussions that have me hooked. Yes they’re still ironing out the quirks of a new team on a new podcast, but I don’t mind and see the quality. I like the tonal shift away from the Australian guy to this more serious magasine show. It’s what I’m...Read full review »

Really enjoy the content but could you publish at a higher volume? Unlike most other podcasts I have to turn this one up really high.

I listen in Reno, Nevada in the US. My family and I visited the BM in June of 2013 - impressive! Tuning in to your show is a delight and brings me right back to our lovely time spent there!

The May episode about the Barbieri map is interesting and then the episode falls into free fall laughter and rather awkward chatter, I e time wasting.

These are wonderfully entertaining and informative! I do hope this podcast will continue. From someone who may never make it over there, this podcast give me knowledge I would never have had! Thank you!

Great podcast! I like the special behind the scenes access you get. It makes visiting a deeper and more knowledgeable experience. Plus it’s great to learn about all the great people that work to make the museum such a success. Keep up the great work!!

As an avid listener to the British Museum Membercast podcast, I was pleased to see a second podcast from the British Museum. Where the Membercast is polished and professionally presented, this is more of a work in progress. The episodes are presented by the curators, who clearly have a great...Read full review »

A wonderful peek behind the curtain of the world's oldest and greatest public museum. It's a place full of weird tales, eccentrics and a history all of its own well worth sharing - and this is the place for them to be told.Read full review »

I can’t say I’m a fan of the new direction, I found it a bit too dry, I enjoyed the previous episodes a lot more and I think it’s a shame you’ve moved away from that.

Narrator talks way too fast!! Interesting subject matter, just not well delivered.

Echoing the other reviews, great content but delivered very poorly!

I love this podcast a lot, the first two episodes were great and the third was good too. I hope this keeps happening!

Would love to listen to this but impossible at the speed of the narration. Please, take some lessons from other great podcasts like freakonomics or reply all and speak ALOT more slowly.

We have too few of these episodes, and yet to ask for more seems greedy. This is the classic Zeno's Podcast Paradox wherein one can never have enough of a series regardless of an infinite number of available episodes. If only there was a passive aggression-free way to get them! Oh woe is us,...Read full review »

Loved the first two episodes telling the story of protecting museum objects during WW II. Waiting for more behind the scenes stories about the British museum!
JoyceFam5 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/13/16
Focusing on the history of the building and the collections themselves was a brilliant starting point. Really hoping to hear more of these in the future!

Would love further episodes, the first two are great! Different interviews make for easy listening.

I really enjoyed these first two episodes, and I sincerely hope there are going to be more episodes in the future. When I lived in London briefly, I stopped by the BM at least once a week to wander a new gallery. I miss being able to do that so much, and this podcast made me feel a little bit...Read full review »

An interesting podcast about the history of the museum itself, rather than its artefacts. I look forward to episode 2!
