Well worth it! Not just for social anxiety
I was originally just looking for something to help calm me as I was going through some tough times. I was a little hesitant cause it was labeled social anxiety. Wasn’t sure if the info would pertain to me as I suffer from generalized anxiety. Read the description and saw the it could be useful for sufferers of general anxiety as well as depression, so I gave it a shot. From the first episode I could totally relate. Especially the misconceptions on what I have learned in the past. What makes it so powerful is that she understands and has been through it all. Now I’m HOOKED! I personally have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety and only started getting professional help about a year ago. Been through extreme lows for the past ten years. Wish I had found this sooner. Just started listening and not sure how much it will help me as I’ve already done a lot of research throughout the years. Still struggling but slowly climbing my way out. The best part so far is the insight and the way she explains things. It gives me a different perspective on what I’ve already learned. I feel like this could help most people with any type of anxiety disorder even though her focus is on social anxiety which is what she overcame. I have mild social anxiety but more of a general anxiety. A lot of the info can definitely help in most areas of anxiety. Still got a ways to go with the episodes but so far very insightful.
