DON"T Hang the DJ, hang the DJ, hang the DJ
OK, I should have made a hip-hop reference there but unlike Moshe I grew up in the Outer Richmond of SF where the only black culture I was exposed to was when the kids from the Fillmore would ride their bikes out to the beach and rob of us of our lunch money on the way. What was great about the podcast was that the DJ's constant interruptions made this podcast have no flow at all and totally got you off track - for example I am pretty certain you guys never mentioned what your guest actually does for a living - I mean, I think he's a comedian but I don't think you ever mentioned that. So the DJ thing was way over the top but don't get rid of it - it makes the show what it is. My only other peeve was that I had a hard time telling Neal and Moshe's voices apart - maybe white guys into hip hop culture always sound alike - so it would help if Moshe talked more like Fran Drescher since he is the Jewish one - or at least Woody Allen.Read full review »
