In 1965, a 17 year old Lee Oskar left his native Denmark in search of the American Dream. What he found was a band called WAR. They sold over 50 million records, becoming famous for hit songs "Low Ryder" and "The World is a Ghetto". In the 1980's Lee founded Lee Oskar Harmonicas which is today one of the worlds most popular harmonica brands. We chatted about his extraordinary career, the place where his songs come from, and how the gift of a harmonica at the age of 6 changed his life forever.
