Excellent podcast meeting a major need.
I have been listening to this podcast for over a year.  Eric Olander deserves kudos for running this show as professionally as he does, and with finely tuned, intelligent delivery.  He continually presses the points, demands clarity of information from his sources and presses his interviewees on specifics and inconsistencies, as a good journalist should. I am a global public health researcher and policy person who has lived and worked in sub-Saharan Africa since 2000.  The material covered here rings true and is pertinent to all aspects of global health, economics and development (after all, they are all related).  The quality of the information covered is such that an intellectual will find it informative and fulfilling. These guys took a gamble on a podcast with a potentially small market, but their vision is paying off.  I am very happy to see good work do well.

Wonderful podcasts. Interesting guests with a unique podcast on what we often don’t hear enough of what’s going on in Africa

Great podcast. I'm kindda hooked as I'm a tech evangelist in Nigeria. However, there's the need to correct the name of the Chief of Staff to the Preaident of Nigeria. Your presenter say Abraham Gambari. The first name is actually Ibrahim. Pronounced Eee-bra-heem.Read full review »

Love the show. I grew up in Africa and they tell it as it is. They offer a balanced view and invite scholars/journalists to comment on issues regarding China and Africa. Especially loved the Nick Francis episode (When China met Africa).
