Irritating Mispronounciations, etc.
The podcast host frequently mispronounces names and places in almost every episode, even well-known ones such as "9-vah" for Nineveh. (That's "nin-eh-veh" if you read this, Mr. Host.) Also, the host often grievously errs in his tangents from history, especially when commenting on doctrine. In the Flood episode, he mentioned "believing in faith rather than science" in response to the plethora of deluge theories. False dichotomies between Christian orthodoxy and science aside, as any educated Christian should know, faith is putting one's trust in the application of his knowledge. By definition, one who trusts in the outcome of the scientific process puts his faith in science. Faith and science are not at all mutually exclusive. In short, due to frequent and elementary errors committed by the host, I cannot fully trust that I know what he's talking about.Read full review »

Listening to this podcast has put my Bible reading into a larger world context. It’s fascinating to know what was going on in world history during the events I am reading about in the Bible. Thank you podcast creator! Your work is much appreciated. This is a great podcast.
