Irreverent, hilarious, and gloriously silly
The Cider Shed podcast is a ridiculous weekly in-depth analysis of a national institution, in the style of a group of mates having a boozy Sunday brunch after a boozy Saturday night in a boozy student bar. Keri, Peter and Matthew are a mis-matched, hilarious bunch who interact as if they have spent too much time squabbling over who didn’t put the milk in the fridge the night before. They are enormous Archers fans, who are able to treat the show with rightful irreverence whilst remaining enormously respectful. They also occasionally welcome Archers actors onto the show as guests, which are always special episodes. Always a great listen; thank you, guys!

Proper chat, like taking to your mates, if you actually knew anyone in real life who listened to the Archers, which none of us do. It’s a delight to listen to people who realise it’s a radio continuing drama, unlike that sub section of Radio 4 listeners who regular moan it’s “too like a soap”,...Read full review »
