Description
This project has grown into more than birth stories and I am so honoured to just sit in space with the wonderful calming voice of Angela Fitzgerald – Birth Healing. The work she is currently doing is completely fitting to the journey and the growth of the world of birth and beyond. Angela recently retired as a midwife (in the professional sense) in 2015 and found her calling in birth healing. She is providing a space to essentially ‘birth your truth’ So I have been thinking about the words ‘birth your truth’ and applying this to my life, I feel like we are reaching a shift, or my obsession with birth and our birthrights has my thinking this! Birthing our truth can overlay in so many aspects of our life, change of career, relationships, education and so on. I feel we have and are continuing to reach a consiousness You will hear in her story of her home birth with her daughter, her journey into midwifery and how her challenges of serving women vs serving the system brought her to helping others heal their birth. From Angela – “A woman’s birth story is a doorway that takes me straight to a woman’s soul”.
