Cave to the woke
I have been a long time listener and financial supporter of this show. I love the talent that B J brings to the table. I could listen to this guy read the phone book. Having said that I’m wicked disappointed that he has given into the book burring woke mob. I was listing to the last episode and after one review of some one getting offended at the term “yellow people” referencing the Hong dynasty. Don’t take these “classic” books out of context. These people are looking for a reading to be offended and BJ caved. I’m out so is my money

More reviews of The Classic Tales Podcast
Amateur in the best sense - i.e. a work of love rather than duty - this podcast provides full, unabridged readings of classic work, read with emphatic competence. In the increasingly broad world of free talking books, this is particular recommended.

I listen to these in the car, and I find myself taking the long way to work just so I can continue listening. BJ has renewed my interest in the classics. More please!

B.J. Harrison does a great job with the timeless classics. With a 1 hour-each-way communte, I am delighted to have found a resource that responds to the classics with such grace, care, and quality. I stay engaged, even in bumper-to-bumper. Thanks B.J.!
