“I frequently have to pause the podcast to ponder and wonder at some wonderful idea they are discussing! While the topics are always deep, the early episodes have a very serious feel, but the gals become much more light-hearted and easy to listen to in later episodes. My reason for giving only 4 stars is because it would be difficult to jump in as an explorer of Classical education, as they provide little or no explanation for many references- it's assumed you can follow along with the occasional Latin phrase thrown in, or know who wrote which ancient texts.”
