Disappointed
Enjoyed the series until Episode 7, when Kim plays defense attorney and shatters Pat and Michelle by using the police documents. She NEVER offers them alternative explanations: 1. Police interviewers said what Pat remembers, AFTER the tape recorder was shut off. Very possible. 2. Police neither logged nor took a photo of the threatening note to Michelle that was on a separate sheet of paper. Again, very possible. Kim treats the police evidence as incontrovertible truth, when she KNOWS that the police left out conversations and other evidence.

I don’t even think I will bother playing the next Serial series that comes out. They just keep getting less compelling. Maybe they’re a victim of their own success.l and it’s hard to top what came before. The Laramie series was underwhelming for sure.
