“Colin & Samir are on the cusp of something special. They're talented filmmakers, entrepreneurs, community builders, coffee drinkers, editors and teachers, but most importantly they're curious by nature.
What makes this podcast special is it's like a window inside the minds of two seriuosly talented creators who are still in the early stages of their journey with a seriuos amount of introspection. (In a good way.)
As someone who listens to 15+ hours of podcasts a week, this is the best new show I've discovered in over a year & I'm surprised at how under the radar Colin & Samir are for now.
If this were on Gimlet or another big platform their audience would already be in the hundreds of thousands of downloads per week. The show is that good. It also reminds me of the new show Without Fail.
As the show goes on, would be great to hear Colin & Samir break down the decisions behind the kind of content they're creating for their YouTube show & why they're passionate about making it in the first place. Or do one live show a month at their studio (or coffee shop) and invite their followers / fans / YT comunity to attend.
Also especially enjoy when they interview other creators. As artists themselves the questions are particularly insightful. Cannot recommend the show highly enough & they should definitely be sponsored by Blue Bottle.”Read full review »
