Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest and largest estates in Bordeaux, founded in the 13th century by a Brotherhood of Benedictine monks. Château de Respide in AOC Graves dates to 1630 with many family owners, including the aunt of artist, Henri de Toulouse-Latrec, a frequent visitor.
